We are a five strong committee: Amy, Sarah, Laura, David and John. Our Honourary President is Lord Reed.
What is the Society about? Encouraging members to have lots of fun and to enjoy their degree. We run the annual in-house mooting competition, guest speaker nights, social events and the end of year law ball.
It costs £2 to join and for that you get access to every event in the academic year. You also get lots of free booze. If you are interested in being on the committee next year, then you will need to join in order to stand for election!
Join Mondays 1-3pm or Tuesdays 12-2pm on the 3rd floor.
Soooo - the quiz has been and gone. What a night though!! Who'd have thought that £2 would provide you with all that drink, a fantastic quiz and some x-rated entertainment thrown in!
Next event coming soon - Lord Bracadale, Guest Speaker. Thursday 6 November at 5pm, room still to be confirmed. Be there, or be square!

- Amy Campbell - I'm in my last year of the LLB. I've loved my time at Caley. I'm this year's President. Please get in touch if you need any advice or have any comments regarding the society on acampb57@caledonian.ac.uk. Sarah Moyes - I'm this year's VP, also in my final year. I've had many a good night out with the law society so all get joining guys! Laura Anderson - I'm also in my final year of the LLB. I am the most organised Secretary this society has ever seen.

- Please come along to our fundraiser next Friday at 730pm in the Union. It's all to riase money for the ball so your support is greatly appreciated. Tickets are £4 and can be purchased from Elaine in the law office 10am -12noon & 2.30-4.00pm Mon - Fri. You get a free drink with your tickets and a chance to see 2 of Glasgow's finest bands and dance the night away!

- This year, the society is trying something a bit different by running a clinic to help students who are struggling with any aspect of studying at University. This is running on a Monday 1-3pm and on a Tuesday 12-2pm on the 3rd floor.

- Our annual law ball has been a massive success over the last 3 years. It is held on the first weekend after the May exam diet and is great fun. Please check back for more information soon. Check out the pictures from previous years to get an idea of what it's like.
