Jingsy me! Its hot outside man. Britain suffering a heatwave? Try a heat-typhoon! Is it just me or are summers getting warmer? Sodding global warming. I imagine my trip to Florida is going to be an interesting one if the weather on this side of the pond is anything to go by.

The slow march of a million men in the distance like the beat of a great war drum. Thumping, beating, pounding; breaking the hearts of mortal men. The Guard may run, but they would stay.
"Brothers!" he said dropping his storm bolter and retrieving the shielf of fallen Brother Ixius.
"This is where we hold them!" He locked the shield to his jet black Terminator Armoured gauntlet.
"This is where we fight!"
The twin fields of the shield and rosarius would protect his ancient armour, the armour would protect his body. His Emperor would protect hsi soul. He flicked the energy field of his crozius on, the golden metal artifact coming to life with a flicker of fantastic green light.
"For the Lion and for the Emperor," he called over his internal vox.

"For the Lion and for the Emperor!" answered the brave three hundred at his back.

"We are the finest of His sons my fellow Angels! We are tasked with the eternal task of repentance! On this glorious day we may yet earn our right to stand at the right hand of our Lord and bring our absolution a step closer.
These Fallen Sons have amassed an army the likes of which have never been seen on this world. One million fanatical madmen, ready to die at a word from their false God-Kings. We will show them true faith brothers!"

"We are death incarnate!" they answered as one.

"We are the finest of the finest warriors in the Imperium! Three hundred heroes of the First Companies from the finest Chapters of the I Legion! WE are the pride of the Unforgiven!"

"Successor or Dark Angel, we are brothers forged in battle; we are the sons of the Lion," they answered.

He could hear the drums rise to a carcophany of thunder. They were coming. His bleached helm glinted white in the low sun, the gold of the evening sky reflecting off of each ivory tooth of his rictus death mask.

"Either we take these bastards or we die in disgrace. Dark Angels. Descples of Caliban. Angels of Absolution. Will we allow these blood trators to stain our honour a moment longer?"

"Death or Glory!"

He readied. "Squads Artemus, Dragonica, Behemoth, to me!"
Fifteen hammer and shield armoured warriors come forward to form the phalanx - ten in glistening bone white, five in midnight black and emerald green.
"Prepare my brothers!"
As one they raised their shields and braced.
"Form up my Angels of Death!"
The brave 300 at his back formed into layer upon layer of ready armoured bodies, joining their bretherin at the front.

It was only the son of the Lion that could have lured the heretics here. They would be bottlenecked, their numbers would be nothing. This cut in the great cliffs was enough to fit sixteen Terminator armoured bodies abreast and no more - more than enough for the phalanx to be more than effective, more than enough to win. They would come, flailing with sword and shield and pistols and their tide wold break against the sheilds of the sons of Caliban.

He could see the whites of their eyes.

"Tactical Terminators, hold your fire! Wait for my signal. Assault brothers, do not attack or break formation until my command. Let them break themselves on our wall of faith!"

He bellowed to the heavens over the external speakers in his helmet, "Heretics! I am the deliverer of your fate. I am the harbinger of your demise. I am the Angel of Death! The sons of the I Legion will tolerate your existance no longer! I am Defilus, Interrogator Chaplain of the Dark Angels and I will personally break the necks of each of you myself! Repent Fallen scum, for tomorrow you die!!"
His brothers let out a hate roar.

The enemy could see the crimson eyes of his skull mask burning.

He could see the scars, the hair, the filth on their faces.

"You will repent and I will make our Father proud. Ave Imperator. For the Lion," he whispered, bringing his shield to the ready; his crozius yearning for the blood of the foe.

"I fear no evil, for I am Fear Incarnate!"

Just watched 28 Weeks Later on the HD in the lounge tonight and I am now biffing out somethign aweful. I keep looking behind me every 5 seconds and don't want to look out of windows for fear of something bursting in and eating my face.
