WW2 german germany sniper omaha beach d-day
Tutto su di me
This story is not a true story. I talked a lot about WW2 with my grandpa who actually fought there. So I tried to write a war story about a German sniper at Omaha Beach at D-Day. It is my first story at all so I do want to know your opinion about it. Please do not be that hard with me because of the grammar, my english is not the best. Well, thank you very much for spending your time for reading the story. I hope you enjoyed it =)

There is discipline in A Soldier
you can see it when he walks,
There is honor in A Soldier
you hear it when he talks.
There is courage in A Soldier
you can see it in his eyes,
There is loyalty in A Soldier
    that he will not compromise.
There is something in A Soldier
    that makes him stand apart,
There is strength in A Soldier
    that beats from his heart.
    A Soldier isn't a title
any man can be hired to do,
A Soldier is the soul of that man
    buried deep inside of you.
    A Soldier's job isn't finished
after an 8 hour day or a 40 hour week,
    A Soldier is always
A Soldier even while he sleeps.
A Soldier serves his country first
and his life is left behind,
A Soldier has to sacrifice what
    comes first in a civilian'smind.
If you are civilian - I am saying this to you
next time you see A Soldier remember what they do..
A Soldier is the one that is brave protecting you and me..
If you know A Soldier - I am saying this to you
    Respect is all we ask..

    Hey fellow-author,
If you are a self-respecting bookworm, then you could do a lot worse than read through extracts of my new book on www.bebo.com/JadedGoodie The 288-page publication can be ordered from Amazon, Blackwell or Waterstones and is due out at the beginning of March.
    Best wishes

Exactly what I think. I mean, no question that some of the German soldier , especially the SS ones, were behaving horrible...but also alot of Americans,Brits and Russians acted like that when they came to Germany. But let's stop this....I didn't put this story online for starting arguements about that things...Thank you very much..

Who ever said your character was horrilbe because he killed so many what about the American in the pacific. Or the British in the flamer thrower tanks, or the Russians on the Eastern front and in Finland. So just think about the other point of veiw. Some of the Allies were worse than the Germans when they entered the enemies homeland.

I gonna try to write some more chapters. Not about "Heinrich Schultz" but others. I think I only gonna write about the German point of view. So yeah...Gonna see...Maybe Stalingrad next...or Berlin...I am not sure..

So thanks for the good ratings =)
